36 firm lawyers from across the US and Europe honored as exceptional antitrust practitioners.

The number of Latham antitrust attorneys appearing in the latest edition of Who’s Who Legal: Competition, a directory of the “foremost legal practitioners in the competition space,” has reached an all-time high as 36 lawyers were chosen for their “exceptional work on a spectrum of related matters including merger control, abuse of dominance cases, cartel investigations, state aid matters and high-stakes antitrust litigation.”

Now among the top two firms with the most notable competition practitioners, the array of Global Antitrust & Competition Practice lawyers selected, from across a number of geographies as well as antitrust disciplines, clearly demonstrates the group’s evenly balanced strength across the globe.

Notably, Who’s Who Legal compiles its directory through direct recommendations from clients and legal peers.

From Brussels, partners Héctor Armengod, Luca Crocco, Marc Hansen, Lars Kjølbye, Jean Paul Poitras, Elisabetta Righini, Howard Rosenblatt, and Sven Völcker were recognized.

Across the rest of Europe, Paris partner Jacques-Philippe Gunther, Düsseldorf partner Michael Esser, Frankfurt partner Georg Weidenbach, and Madrid partner José María Jiménez Laiglesia were all also honored.

Latham’s US-based antitrust attorneys also made a great showing. San Francisco partners Joshua Holian, Hanno Kaiser, Niall Lynch, Alfred Pfeiffer, Karen Silverman, Daniel Wall, and Christopher Yates; Washington, D.C. partners Michael Egge, Elizabeth Prewitt, Amanda Reeves, Marguerite Sullivan, and Peggy Zwisler; and New York partner Lawrence Buterman were recognized.
