Alexander Pfeifer is an associate in the Düsseldorf office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department.

He advises German and international companies and financial investors on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, as well as on corporate law.

Alexander studied law at the University of Cologne. Prior to joining Latham, he worked in the Düsseldorf office of another major law firm in its corporate/M&A department.

Alexander's experience includes advising:

  • QIAGEN N.V on the planned public takeover by Thermo Fisher Scientific*
  • Hyundai Capital Bank Europe GmbH on its acquisition of Sixt Leasing SE*
  • Volkswagen on its disposal of its stake in RENK AG*
