Posit Laohaphan is the Managing Partner of Latham's Asia offices and the head of the firm’s Structured Equity and Finance Practice in Asia.

Mr. Laohaphan advises clients across Asia on a range of investment and financing matters in the public and private markets covering equity-linked capital markets products, private credit, structured equity and finance, and OTC derivatives. 

He helps clients on:

  • Structured capital markets products, such as equity-linked securities 
  • OTC equity derivatives
  • Structured lending products, such as margin loans
  • Direct lending and private capital transactions 
  • Structured finance
  • Workouts and restructuring of financing transactions 
  • General corporate and capital markets transactions

Mr. Laohaphan draws on over two decades of experience advising on complex structured cross-border transactions. He began his career in New York in 2004 before moving to Hong Kong in 2010 to build Latham’s structured equity and financing business in APAC. Mr. Laohaphan advises clients across different product areas, geographical markets, and client types (both buy-side and sell-side). Given his broad and sophisticated practice he serves as a strategic advisor to clients.
