Latham Named Finalist for Multiple Honors in Asia Legal Awards

Latham & Watkins has been shortlisted in nearly two dozen categories at the Asia Legal Awards 2026. The prestigious award program honors the most significant transactions, cases, and legal work that have shaped the industry across Asia.

In addition to more than a dozen Deal of the Year awards, Latham was shortlisted in the following firm awards:

  • Dispute Resolution Firm of the Year
  • Fintech and Digital Assets Firm of the Year
  • M&A Firm of the Year
  • Private Equity Firm of the Year
  • Securities Firm of the Year

Four Latham lawyers were also named finalists for individual awards:

  • Amy Beckingham: Private Equity Lawyer of the Year — Amy, the Vice Chair of the firm’s Global Corporate Department, advises clients across Asia on a full spectrum of corporate transactions.
  • James Clayton-Payne: M&A Lawyer of the Year — James, a partner in the firm’s M&A and PE Practice, advises on complex cross-border M&A and joint venture transactions across all sectors in Asia and the Middle East.
