Grégoire Paquet is an associate in Latham & Watkins’ Paris office and a member of the firm’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice.

He advises clients across the life sciences sector — including pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, cosmetics, food and beverage, digital health, and other health-related products — on complex European, domestic, and cross-border regulatory matters. His experience spans the full product lifecycle, including product approvals, market access, pricing and reimbursement, promotion and advertising, post-market obligations, and general compliance. He regularly supports clients in navigating evolving regulatory frameworks and provides strategic advice on regulatory positioning in highly regulated and fast moving environments.

He also advises on the regulatory aspects of transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, private equity investments, restructurings, licensing and collaboration arrangements, and capital markets transactions, including high-yield bond offerings and IPOs. His work includes regulatory due diligence, drafting and reviewing disclosure and offering materials, and advising on regulatory risk allocation and mitigation in cross-border transactions involving life sciences and healthcare businesses.

His practice further encompasses public policy and EU litigation strategy. He advises clients throughout the legislative cycle, including monitoring and analyzing EU and national developments, conducting gap assessments, and supporting the development and defense of client positions, including through the drafting and review of amendments, position papers, and submissions to public consultations. He also designs and implements pre-litigation strategies before EU institutions, including access-to-documents requests, engagement with institutional processes, and complaints before the European Ombudsman. In addition, he contributes to litigation strategies before the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), including in matters involving challenges to EU measures and decision making processes, and has been involved in cases before the EU courts.
