Dr. Alexander Lentz is a member of the corporate finance team, focusing on capital market transactions and structured and hybrid capital solutions. 

In the last several years, Alexander has advised corporate clients in various industries, sponsors, and investment banks on various high-yield bond, liability management, structured, and hybrid capital transactions, as well as financial restructurings, with a particular focus on the DACH region.

Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Alexander was an associate for three years at another US law firm.

Alexander advises on:

  • Complex high-yield bond transactions (both under US and German law), including related liability management transactions
  • Structured and hybrid capital solutions (including hybrid and convertible loans/bonds, perpetual bonds, and structured/preferred equity solutions)
  • Commitment papers for bridge-to-bond financing transactions
  • P2P financing transactions
  • “Cross-over” bonds (e.g., in the real estate sector in the DACH region)
  • Capital markets transactions in the context of financial restructurings
  • Sustainability-linked and green bonds
