The Texas Lawbook’s Capital Markets Corporate Deal Tracker ranked Latham & Watkins at the top of the leaderboard statewide by deal count for the first half of 2026. Houston partner Ryan Maierson led 21 capital markets transactions valued at US$11.6 billion, Austin parter David Miller led 20 transactions valued at US$12.6 billion, and Austin partner Samuel Rettew led 12 transactions valued at US$9.1 billion.

The Texas Lawbook’s Texas-led and Texas-related Capital Markets Leaderboard also features:

  • Nick Dhesi, with 8 deals valued at US$7 billion
  • Ryan Lynch, with 5 deals valued at US$4.8 billion
