Latham Ranked #1 in Texas Capital Markets Deals in 2025

The Texas Lawbook’s Capital Markets Corporate Deal Tracker ranked Latham & Watkins #1 for Texas-related and Texas-led deals by deal count for 2025. Latham lawyers in Texas advised on 126 capital markets transactions last year, 81 of which were led by the firm’s Texas lawyers — more than any other law firm — totaling US$106.5 billion in Texas-related deal value.

Among individual lawyers, Latham’s David Miller and Ryan Maierson took the top two spots statewide by deal count, with Miller leading or co-leading 31 transactions totaling US$26.4 billion and Maierson leading or co-leading 26 transactions totaling US$11.7 billion.

These results underscore Latham’s market-leading capital markets capabilities in Texas and serve as a complement to Latham's #1 position in capital markets activity in the US and worldwide.
