Hans Brigham, Global Vice Chair of the firm’s Corporate Department, helps clients navigate a broad range of transaction-based services.

Mr. Brigham leverages trusted industry relationships and strategic client-team collaboration across Latham’s robust platform to transcend transactional impasses and negotiate successful outcomes for clients. He delivers pragmatic advice to private equity, growth equity, and venture firms as well as strategic acquirers and sellers on their highest-profile:

  • Leveraged buy-outs
  • Management-led buy-outs
  • Take-private transactions
  • Public company and public/private mergers
  • Equity/debt recapitalizations
  • Growth equity and venture capital investing

In his leadership role at Latham, Mr. Brigham dedicates significant time to mentoring junior colleagues — particularly women and members of populations traditionally underrepresented within the legal profession — and bolstering the firm’s robust Corporate Department through strategic growth opportunities.

Before serving as Vice Chair of the Corporate Department, he spent eight years as Managing Partner of the Boston office, during which he expanded office headcount from 30 lawyers to more than 140.
