  • Advising on the acquisition financing for the €17 billion sale of SFR to Numericable. The deal is expected to be the largest-ever European leveraged buyout and included the largest-ever high yield bond offering.   
  • Advising the lenders on the US$20 billion project financing of Ichthys LNG Project,  the largest project financing ever arranged in the international finance market.

The London office continues to provide pro bono advice to various individuals and organizations amounting.   • Representing The Roundhouse - The Roundhouse is an internationally renowned arts venue in North London. London lawyers advised The Roundhouse in connection with its fundraising for its redevelopment as a youth performing arts venue through benefactors such as Arts Council England, the Welcome Trust, Heritage Lottery Fund and the London Development Agency.

  • Working with Redress Trust - Redress Trust is a UK-based human rights organization that seeks reparation and justice for victims of torture before the International Criminal Court.

  • Working with Rosetta Life - Rosetta Life is a charitable organization whose primary objective is to provide palliative care for hospice users through the creation of films, video diaries and other means related to issues affecting their daily lives.
  • Member of PRIME - PRIME is an organization that works to ensure fair and equal access to quality work experience for students from less privileged backgrounds. Survey of Pro Bono Practices and Opportunities

A multi-office team of nearly 100 Latham & Watkins lawyers and professional staff from across the firm’s offices globally conducted extensive research to prepare the 2012 edition of the “Survey of Pro Bono Practices and Opportunities” report. Conducted in conjunction with the Pro Bono Institute (PBI), the unique report is an essential resource for local practitioners, in-house teams and non-profits on pro bono practices around the world.
