Latham & Watkins has been named M&A Team of the Year at the Legal Business Awards 2026. The annual awards celebrate the very best in the legal profession at one of the most prestigious events in the legal calendar in London.

The firm was recognized for its representation of Anglo American plc on its US$70 billion merger of equals with Teck Resources Limited, a landmark achievement in UK public M&A.

Latham was also highly commended in the Capital Markets Team of the Year category for its work representing Satsuma Technology on its ESCC listing.
