Vera Bespalova is an associate in the Houston office of Latham & Watkins.

Vera represents companies and private equity funds in a range of strategic corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and preferred equity investments.

Prior to joining Latham full-time, Vera was a summer associate in Latham’s Houston office.

While attending law school at Emory University School of Law, Vera served as the executive developments issue editor for the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal.

  • EIG Global Energy in its sale of a 49% interest in Elba Liquefaction Company to Blackstone Credit
  • TotalEnergies in the acquisition of SunPower Corporation
  • DJR Energy in its sale of its oil, gas, and water gathering systems in the San Juan Basin Oil Window, to Whiptail Midstream
