Ruggero Barelli is an associate in the Milan office of Latham & Watkins.
Ruggero advises corporate clients, investment banks, private equity sponsors, and their portfolio companies on international capital markets transactions across Southern Europe. His practice encompasses equity and debt capital markets matters, including high-yield debt issuances, initial public offerings, capital increases, private placements, acquisition financings, and other strategic financing transactions.
He was recognized on the Nova Talent 111 List 2023 as one of Italy’s most outstanding professionals.
Prior to joining Latham, Ruggero was an associate at other leading US and UK law firms and an in-house attorney for IBM in Dublin.
While in law school, Ruggero served as student senator at Columbia Law School and as a Faculty Board Member at the University of Milan.
