Roxanna Abdoli is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Tax Department. She advises on private and public company tax matters, including formation and structuring of private equity funds, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and reorganizations, financing transactions, and other similar transactions across the US and Europe.

She maintains an active pro bono practice, partnering with nonprofits to secure federal tax-exempt status and counseling social-enterprise founders on choice-of-entity and charitable contribution issues, as well as representing refugees in the Middle East and Africa seeking asylum in the US.

Before joining Latham, Roxanna worked at a leading US law firm in a client-specific summer associate position providing tax and tax-related services to companies, organizations, and individuals in the US. She received her JD from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was a Business Law Scholar.
