Latham & Watkins Advises Encore on US$350 Million Fund Formation

Encore Consumer Capital (Encore), a private equity investment firm focused on the consumer staples industry, announced that it has closed Encore Consumer Capital Fund V LP with US$350 million of LP commitments. Encore V was substantially oversubscribed, and the fundraise was completed in less than five months. Investors include a diverse group of institutions comprising endowments, foundations, pension plans, family offices, and financial institutions.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented Encore in the fund formation with an Investment Funds team led by New York partner Matthew Chase, with associates Benjamin Hoekstra and Zafreen Siddiquee.
