Dr. Nicolas Jung is an associate in the Frankfurt office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Global Antitrust & Competition Practice. His practice encompasses all areas of European and German competition law, with a focus on foreign investment and merger control.

Mr. Jung advises companies on foreign investment control in their German, European, and international transactions. He also assists clients in navigating the complex merger control proceedings in Germany and in the EU.

Prior to joining Latham as an associate, he gained experience in European competition law through legal clerkships in Hamburg and Berlin, working for the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs (BMWK) and other international law firms in the areas of antitrust, state aid, and foreign trade law. His practice as a lawyer ties in with his earlier academic work in European and international business law at the Europa-Institut of Saarland University.
