Jesús Miralles de Imperial is an associate in the Corporate Department of Latham & Watkins’ Madrid office. He represents private equity funds and financial institutions in loan-on-loan transactions (primarily the acquisition financing of NPL and REO portfolios), structured real estate / mortgage-backed financings, real estate financings (including hotels, shopping centers, and logistics), as well as restructuring, and special situations.

  • The Ad Hoc Group of bondholders in the bridge financing to Naviera Armas, in the context of its restructuring process
  • The creditors committee in relation to the comprehensive restructuring of Swissport, including a €1.9 billion debt-for-equity swap and a new €500 million long-term debt facility
  • KKR and Grupo Gallardo on the refinancing of a senior facilities agreement, a second lien facilities agreement and working capital lines, in the context of the distressed sale of Grupo Gallardo to Cristian Lay
  • The creditors committee in relation to the €625 million debt and equity restructuring of Deoleo, a Spain-based global olive-oil producer
