Jan Penselin is an associate in the Frankfurt office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department. Mr. Penselin advises on capital markets transactions and bank financings, with a focus on high yield bonds and leveraged buyout financings. His clients include corporate issuers and borrowers, as well as investment bank and private equity funds.

Prior to joining Latham & Watkins, Mr. Penselin worked for leading law firms in Frankfurt and London for several years.

Mr. Penselin's experience includes advising:

  • Safari Holding Verwaltungs GmbH in its offering of €350 million Senior Secured Notes due 2022 and the concurrent revolving credit facility
  • JP Morgan in connection with the initial public offering of American Depositary Shares by MorphoSys for US$239 million
  • Kongsberg Automotive in its offering of €275 million Senior Secured Notes due 2025
  • A consortium of banks in connection with the term loan and bond financing to fund the acquisition by BC Partners of technical ceramics supplier, CeramTec
