Florence Eicher is an associate in the Brussels office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Global Antitrust & Competition Practice. She advises clients on European Union (EU), Belgian, and German competition law, as well as on EU regulatory law.

Ms. Eicher represents clients before the European Commission, the Belgian and German competition authorities, and EU courts on all aspects of competition and EU regulatory law.

Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Eicher worked as an associate in the Brussels office of another international law firm. She also completed a Bluebook traineeship at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Competition in the pharmaceuticals and health services antitrust unit.

Ms. Eicher’s experience includes representing:

  • Advising a global technology company in relation to the online advertising sector inquiry of the German Federal Cartel Office*

  • Advising a company active in the surveillance sector in relation to a cartel investigation by the Belgian competition authority*
  • Advising a company active in the automotive industry in relation to a cartel investigation by the European Commission*
  • Advising a company on the appeal against a cartel infringement decision by the European Commission*
  • Advising a company on private enforcement risks spanning 14 jurisdictions*
