Latham & Watkins Advises SPIE on Acquisition of ROFA

Latham & Watkins LLP has advised SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, on the signing of an agreement to acquire ROFA Industrial Automation AG. ROFA is a leading industrial services provider with more than 1,200 employees, and 2025 revenue of approximately €430 million. With the acquisition, SPIE strengthens its service offering in industrial automation, conveyor systems, and intralogistics. Closing of the transaction is expected in the second quarter of 2026 and is subject to approval by the antitrust authorities.
