Latham Advises on Shuangdeng’s Hong Kong IPO

Latham & Watkins has advised CICC, Huatai Financial, and CCB International on Shuangdeng Group Co. Ltd’s (Shuangdeng) HK$850 million initial public offering (IPO) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. CICC acted as Joint Sponsors, Sponsor-Overall Coordinators, Overall Coordinators, Joint Global Coordinators, Joint Bookrunners, and Joint Lead Managers, alongside Huatai Financial and CCB International.

Founded in 2011 in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province in China, Shuangdeng Group is a leading company in energy storage business for the big data and telecommunication industries.

The Latham team was led by Hong Kong partners Daying Zhang and Mandy Wong, with associates Chimmy Tao, Alex Lai, Caroline Lin, and Marie Lim, and foreign legal consultants Manyu Tian, Jenny Zhang, Kenneth Wang, and Yuxuan Chen.
