Regina Jinseo Kim advises Korean and global clients on outbound and inbound investments and corporate transactions.

Ms. Kim helps global private equity firms and market-leading Korean companies on strategic transactions, including:

She draws on previous experience working at a Korean law firm, as well as working in the US, and Hong Kong. A skilled bilingual and bicultural practitioner, Ms. Kim also brings experience working on landmark multibillion-dollar mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures in South Korea and other jurisdictions.

She also works closely on the ground with global Latham teams on a full spectrum of matters.

    • The acquisition of a 10% stake in Hyundai Glovis, the logistics arm of Hyundai Motor Group
    • Its acquisition of premium coffee shop chain, A Twosome Place, from Korean private equity house Anchor Equity Partners
    • The US$200 million investment in Kakao Mobility, a business unit of Kakao Corp, a South Korean internet portal and chat app operator
    • The US$1.93 billion acquisition of Tyco Fire Security Services Korea from the Tyco Group*
