Kate Wang is an associate in the Houston office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Wang’s practice focuses on:

  • Public and private mergers and acquisitions
  • Initial public offerings, high yield and secured debt offerings, and other securities offerings
  • Representing and counseling financial institutions, public and private companies, and private equity sponsors in various commercial lending and financing transactions

Ms. Wang received her JD from the University of Texas School of Law concurrently with a Master of Laws from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. While attending law school, Ms. Wang was a member of the Texas Law Review, the Chancellor Honor Society, the Order of Coif, and the Texas Business Law Society. Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Wang worked at a top Chinese law firm where she advised clients on mergers and acquisitions and cross-border transactions.
