Mr. Sants has a broad corporate practice covering a wide variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, public takeovers, joint ventures, and general corporate matters.

Mr. Sants’ experience includes advising:

  • Total SA on its natural gas distribution joint venture with Adani Group, created via Total’s acquisition of 37.4% of Adani Gas Limited, an Indian public company
  • Farfetch on its acquisition of certain assets of Opening Ceremony, an American multi-brand retailer
  • GlaxoSmithKline on: 
    • The formation of a new world-leading consumer healthcare joint venue with Pfizer*       
    • Its three-part interconditional Vaccines, Oncology, and Consumer Healthcare joint venture with Novartis*     
  • Shire on: 
    • Its US$32 billion acquisition of Baxalta*
    • Its US$5.9 billion acquisition of Dyax*
  • John Wood Group on its £2.2 billion recommended all-share offer Amec Foster Wheeler*
  • Shawbrook Group on its IPO and subsequent £868 million takeover offer from Marlin Bidco*
  • Pollen Street Capital on its merger with Marshall Wace Eaglewood*  
  • Fortress Investment Group on the sale of Florida East Coast Railways to Grupo Mexico*
  • Talisman Energy on both its North Sea joint venture with Addax/China Sinopec, as well as its US$8.3 billion takeover by Repsol*
