Latham & Watkins Represents This Day and MARV on Investment in Holding Company of Brentford Football Club

London team advises on investment into multi-club ownership group of the Premier League football club

Latham & Watkins has advised This Day and MARV on their minority investments in Best Intentions Analytics, the holding company of Brentford Football Club and Mérida AD.  

British philanthropist and founder of This Day Foundation, Gary Lubner, and British filmmaker and founder of MARV, Sir Matthew Vaughn, will become minority shareholders in Best Intentions Analytics. 

Equity and financing from the new shareholders will enable greater investment in the playing squad, create enhanced commercial opportunities, and help grow Brentford Football Club’s reach and impact locally and beyond.   

The Latham team was led by London corporate partners Ed Barnett and Hector Sants, with associates Ryan Martin, Faith Edmunds, and Nima Pourdad.
