Zeynep Kocabas is an associate in the Corporate Department of Latham & Watkins’ London office. She advises on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and general corporate matters.

Zeynep trained in the firm’s London office, gaining experience in corporate, restructuring and special situations, and data and technology transactions.

  • Cadence Design Systems, Inc. on its US$1.24 billion acquisition of BETA CAE
  • Two Circles and its shareholders, including Bruin Capital, on the sale of a majority stake in Two Circles
  • AllianceBernstein on the joint venture between its Sanford C Bernstein broker/dealer business and Societe Generale
  • TA Associates on its investment in MRH Trowe, one of the largest owner-managed commercial lines insurance brokers in Germany, alongside its reinvesting founders and AnaCap Financial Partners
  • TA Associates on its sale and reinvestment alongside Hg Capital in the Access Group, a leading provider of business management software, valuing Access at £9.2 billion
  • Astorg Partners on the acquisition of IQ-EQ by a €1.3 billion continuation fund in partnership with AlpInvest and Goldman Sachs Asset Management Vintage Funds, alongside a diverse group of limited partners
  • SIG on its purchase of its acquisition of Evergreen Asia, Pactiv Evergreen’s Asian cartons business for US$335 million
  • SIG on its acquisition of sustainable packaging business Scholle IPN for €1.05 billion
  • Corporate aspects of the restructuring of Swissport, a global aviation services group
  • Duke Street, Wagamama management, and certain other shareholders in connection with the acquisition by The Restaurant Group plc of the Wagamama group
  • DNEG, the international visual effects company, in connection with its proposed IPO on the London Stock Exchange
  • GlaxoSmithKline, in connection with the divestment of certain assets
  • Thomas Cook, in connection with its restructuring and the preparation of a scheme of arrangement
