Dr. Valentin Mezger is an associate in the Munich office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Finance Department.
Valentin advises German and international clients, including banks, private equity firms, and corporate borrowers, on a wide range of complex financings.
He acts on domestic and cross-border matters, including:
Acquisition financings
Unitranche direct lending
Refinancings
General corporate lending (including promissory notes)
Prior to joining Latham as an associate, Valentin studied law in Passau, London, and Cardiff. He completed his legal training in the Finance Department in the Munich office of Latham & Watkins.

DECATHLON PULSE on the acquisition of a majority stake in Bikeleasing Group
MRH Trowe on its unitranche refinancing provided by a number of international credit funds
Partners Group on the financing acquisition of AGN by Adagia Partners and Management
Stonepeak and Columbia Capital on the acquisition of the German data center operator IPB
