Thomas Breheny is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins.

Tom advises a range of clients on capital markets transactions as well as corporate transactions across various industries, including stand-alone bond issuances, EMTN programmes, high-yield transactions, liability management exercises, and M&A transactions. 

Prior to joining Latham, Tom trained at an international law firm in London where he gained experience in TMT, tax, insurance, and structured finance.

Tom’s experience includes advising: 

  • Evoke, formerly 888, in connection with its offering of €600 million 8% Senior Secured Notes due 2031 to refinance in full its €582 million 7.558% Senior Secured Fixed Rate Notes due 2027
  • Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank on a series of notes issuances under its GMTN programme and US shelf programme
  • Jefferies on Third Point Investors Limited’s Proposed All-Share Combination with Malibu Life
  • Hunter Point Capital in GP Stakes Acquisition and Strategic Partnership with Equitix
  • Ericsson in respect of updating its US$5 billion EMTN programme
  • airBaltic on its €340 million Rule 144A / Regulation S senior secured bond issue*
  • A syndicate of banks on ČEZ's programme update and €750 million sustainability-linked bond issuance*
  • Siauliu Bankas on its debut inaugural international bond issuance and Additional Tier 1 Notes issuance*
  • Advised on bond workstream in relation to the merger of Housing Development Finance Corporation and HDFC Bank*
