Latham Advises evoke plc on £243 Million Acquisition by Bally’s Intralot
Latham & Watkins has advised evoke plc., one of the world’s leading betting and gaming companies, on its all-share acquisition by Bally’s Intralot, a leading global iGaming, lottery, and sports betting operator. The acquisition values the entire issued, and to be issued, ordinary share capital of evoke at approximately £243.1 million.
In connection with the financing of the acquisition, certain lenders have committed to make available to evoke a term facility in an amount of up to the EUR equivalent of £889 million to (a) refinance the aggregate principal amount of the 2028 USD-denominated term loan, and (b) redeem the aggregate principal amount of the Euro-denominated senior secured floating rate notes due 2028 issued by evoke.
