Thomas Stüber is a Finance associate in the Munich office of Latham & Watkins.

Thomas advises German and international clients on a range of complex financings, including acquisition financings, corporate loans, and direct lending transactions.

Prior to joining the firm as an associate, he worked at a magic circle law firm in the Litigation Department and the Federal Ministry of Labor in Germany.

Thomas’s experience includes advising: 

  • Apera Asset Management on its: 
    • Refinancing of CSP GmbH
    • Financing of the Lab Supplies group, including a unitranche facility and acquisition facility
  • Apollo on its €3.2 billion Investment in Joint Venture with RWE
  • DECATHLON PULSE on the acquisition of a majority stake in Bikeleasing Group
  • IceLake Capital on the acquisition financing of quattron and NEXTRAIL
  • Pemberton Asset Management on the acquisition financing of papperts GmbH
  • SGB-SMIT Group on its €1.3 billion refinancing including a Term Loan B of €940 million, a guarantee facility of up to €275 million, and a revolving credit facility of €75 million for SGB-SMIT MidCo GmbH
  • White Peaks Capital on the unitranche financing of Nexoware, a leading ERP, ticket system and agentic platform provider
