Shiva Dakhili is an associate in the Dubai office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department. Shiva has experience advising clients across mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and general corporate matters.

Shiva trained in the firm’s London office working across different practice areas, including leveraged finance, antitrust and competition, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital.  

Shiva’s experience includes advising:

  • Stitch on its US$25 million Series A funding round
  • Arzan Investment Management (AIM), an alternative investment manager focused on real estate, hospitality, and credit strategies, on securing a debt financing commitment for its GCC hospitality platform from funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P.
  • Safqah Capital, a Saudi Arabia-based fintech/proptech platform, on its US$15.2 million seed round
  • Tripledot Studios, a mobile games studio, on its US$800 million acquisition of mobile games studio assets from AppLovin, a mobile technology company
  • Sary, the leading B2B marketplace and services platform in the Gulf, on its merger with ShopUp, Bangladesh’s largest B2B commerce platform, to form SILQ Group
  • One Rock Capital Partners on its acquisition by Constantia Flexibles, an Austria-based packaging manufacturer
  • Asda Group, through its subsidiary Bellis Finco, on its £2.27 billion acquisition of the United Kingdom and Ireland operations of EG Group, an operator of petrol station convenience stores
  • Gathern, a peer-to-peer (P2P) vacation rental marketplace, on its US$72 million Series B financing round 
  • Notion Capital on the US$30 million Series B financing round of Treefera, an AI-enabled data fabric transforming first-mile supply chain visibility
  • Nym Technologies Holding Limited on its US$33 million Series B financing 
  • Clear Financial Holdings Limited on its US$10 million Series seed financing
