Peter Dalmasy is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Executive Compensation, Employment & Benefits Practice. 

He counsels publicly traded and privately held companies, boards of directors, compensation committees, executive officers, senior management, entrepreneurs, professional sports franchises, and private equity sponsors on executive compensation and employee benefits matters involving corporate transactions and the daily operation of their businesses. 

Peter also provides day-to-day guidance regarding securities regulations governing compensation-related disclosures, registration requirements for equity offerings, and exemptions and compliance with stock exchange rules. 

He has previously worked as an associate at large international law firms in New York and Chicago in their employee benefits and executive compensation practice groups.

Peter has previously served as a member of the Ambassadors Board of Legal Aid Chicago and has actively participated in Legal Aid Chicago clinics held on the West Side of Chicago.

  • Viant Technology Inc., a leader in CTV and AI-powered programmatic advertising, in its acquisition of TVision
  • Tilman J. Fertitta and Fertitta Entertainment in the acquisition of the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun
  • Edgewell Personal Care Company in the US$340 million sale of its feminine care business to Essity
  • Paramount Group Inc. in its US$1.6 billion acquisition by Rithm Capital
  • Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation in its US$112.7 million acquisition by Worldwide Gold and Capitol Hill Group
