Meera Manoj is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Global Antitrust & Competition Practice.

Meera assists clients on aspects of UK and EU competition law and regulatory issues, including multi-jurisdictional merger control cases, cartel investigations, competition compliance, and general antitrust advisory work.

Prior to joining Latham, Meera trained at a Magic Circle firm. 

Meera's experience includes advising: 

  • SLB on its US$8 billion acquisition of Champion X, including securing Phase 1 clearance with undertakings in lieu of a reference
  • DoorDash on its proposed public takeover of Deliveroo for GBP 2.9 billion
  • Varkey Group on the investment by Brookfield-led consortium in GEMS Education
  • Endeavour on merger control aspects in relation to the setting-up of a joint venture between the global sports and entertainment brands UFC and WWE, valued at US$21 billion 
  • A number of private equity companies on their portfolio of acquisitions and global merger filings including Apollo Global Management Inc., Inflexion PE and KKR
  • A fashion retailer in relation to an investigation by the Competition and Markets Authority for price fixing*
  • A global transport services company on abuse-of-dominance concerns over its loyalty schemes*
  • A sportswear company on its leniency application for anti-competitive conduct*
