Luca Feltrin is an associate in the Brussels office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Global Antitrust & Competition Practice.

Luca advises clients on all aspects of EU competition law and represents them before the Italian Competition Authority and the European Commission. His experience covers advising international and Italian companies on EU and Italian competition law and foreign direct investment matters in a broad range of sectors, including finance, banking, industry, healthcare, and energy.

Prior to joining Latham, Luca worked at other international law firms in Italy and gained experience as a trainee at the Directorate General for Competition of the European Commission, where he was involved in Cartel matters (as, for example, the A.39610 - Power cables case).

Luca’s experience includes advising:

  • Versalis in the acquisition of Novamont, a company active in the bioplastics sector*
  • Hapag Lloyd in the acquisition of joint control over Spinelli Group*
  • London Stock Exchange in the acquisition of Relativity*
  • International Paper Italia in the cartel-related proceedings before the Italian Competition Authority and the Italian administrative courts, as well in the related damages claims before Italian civil courts*
