Linda Qiu is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham and Watkins. She litigates high-stakes complex commercial matters in federal, state, and arbitral venues across the United States.

Linda has extensive experience with all stages of litigation on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants, from pre-suit investigations and negotiations to discovery and through trial. Linda represents private, public company, and individual clients in a wide range of matters, including:

  • Breach of contract
  • Misappropriation of trade secrets
  • Violation of restrictive covenants
  • Environmental citizen suits, contaminated sites, and toxic torts
  • Copyright infringement
  • Unfair competition 
  • Trademark infringement

Linda also devotes significant time to pro bono work, representing asylum seekers, students with disabilities, veterans, and wrongfully convicted prisoners. Linda is an active member of Latham’s Asian and Middle Eastern Lawyers Group and Women’s Lawyers Group.

Before joining the firm, Linda graduated with honors from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where she competed on the National Moot Court team and worked in the Bluhm Legal Clinic for the Environmental Advocacy Center. Linda is an active alumna who serves as an adjunct professor at Northwestern and judge for Northwestern’s intramural moot court competition.
