Heejung (Katie) Byun

Katie Byun is a corporate associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Capital Markets Practice.

Katie represents public and private corporations, investment banks, and private equity firms in capital markets, general securities, and corporate matters. Katie regularly handles a broad array of domestic and cross-border capital markets and other financing transactions, including initial public offerings, follow-on equity offerings, and investment grade and high-yield debt offerings.

Katie also maintains an active pro bono practice, assisting individuals seeking asylum protections in the United States.
