Kate Crompton advises companies and private equity sponsors on equity incentive arrangements and employment-related securities matters in UK and cross-border transactions. 

Kate draws on a thorough understanding of the corporate life cycle to guide FTSE 100-listed entities, private equity-backed companies, and startups through a full spectrum of equity incentive and employment-related securities matters involving:

  • Mergers, acquisitions, and de-SPAC transactions
  • Employment tax issues arising from incentive arrangements 
  • Share incentive plans 
  • Employee benefit trusts 
  • UK securities law compliance

She regularly counsels boards and management teams on directors’ remuneration and reporting requirements, as well as related corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters.

Before joining Latham, Kate served as European counsel at another global law firm.
