Kat advises clients on broad-ranging corporate matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, growth and minority investments, and other general corporate matters.

Prior to qualification, Kat trained in the firm’s London office, gaining experience in public M&A, private equity, joint ventures, data and technology transactions, project finance, and EU ESG regulations.

Kat maintains an active pro bono practice, assisting in particular on Amicus ALJ and DARA matters.

During her training contract, Kat also assisted in planning office- and cohort-wide events as a member of the LO MPAC committee and trainee social committee. 

Kat’s experience includes advising:

  • Ericsson on its joint venture with some of the world’s largest telecom operators — including América Móvil, AT&T, Bharti Airtel, Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Reliance Jio, Singtel, Telefonica, Telstra, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Vodafone — to combine and sell network application programming interfaces (APIs) on a global scale to spur innovation in digital services
  • SKKY Partners, a consumer-focused fund founded by Kim Kardashian and Jay Sammons, on its investment into 111SKIN, a UK-based luxury skincare brand
  • TI Fluid Systems plc, a global industry leader in highly engineered automotive products and systems, on its £1.039 billion takeover by ABC Technologies
  • DAZN, a world-leading sports entertainment platform, on its US$2.2 billion acquisition of Foxtel, one of Australia’s leading media companies, from News Corp and Telstra
  • ECP and Centrica on their acquisition of Grain LNG from National Grid, the largest electric utility in the UK, for £1.5 billion
  • Honeywell International Inc.’s acquisition of the Catalyst Technologies Business of Johnson Matthey PLC
