Latham Advises CVC on Sale of Minority Stake in Rayner
Latham & Watkins has advised CVC, one of the world’s leading private markets investment firms, on the sale of a minority stake in Rayner, a global leader in ophthalmic innovation, to investment holding company GBL.
GBL will invest €0.5 billion of equity to acquire a co-controlling minority stake in Rayner from CVC Capital Partners VIII. CVC will partner with GBL and Rayner’s management team to support Rayner in its international growth ambitions.
