Karolin Borcherding is an associate in the Frankfurt office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department.

Karolin represents national as well as international clients in all areas of intellectual property law, with an emphasis on trademark, patent, competition, and copyright law. She advises clients on IP and know-how transfer, in particular on transactions in the field of intellectual property and information technology.

Karolin studied law at Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and at Trinity College Dublin.

Prior to joining Latham as an associate, she worked at leading international law firms as a law clerk and legal research assistant in the areas of regulatory law and litigation.

Karolin’s representative experience includes advising:

  • Hg on a strategic partnership with Diamant Software
