Jennifer Tian is a corporate associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Investment Funds and Private Equity Practices.

Ms. Tian advises private equity sponsors in connection with the investment fund formation, investment structuring, and related transactions. She also has experience in the ongoing representation of private fund entities and their portfolio companies on general corporate transactional and governance matters.

As part of her practice, Ms. Tian also advises clients on compliance with US federal securities laws, including registration and compliance matters arising under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940.

Ms. Tian maintains an active pro bono practice, frequently appearing in court as a guardian ad litem in partnership with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services. She also serves on the firm’s Diversity Leadership Committee.
