Henning Kleymann is an associate in the Hamburg office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Tax Department.

Henning advises clients in German and international tax law, focusing on the tax aspects of corporate transactions and domestic and multijurisdictional tax planning.

Henning studied law in Münster and Sydney. He completed his legal clerkship in Hamburg, including stages in Kuala Lumpur and New York.

Prior to joining Latham as an associate, he gained experience at another renowned major law firm in the tax department.

Henning’s experience includes advising:

  • DYWIDAG on the refinancing of existing credit facilities (secured Nordic bond of €90 million and senior revolving credit facilities agreement)
  • IFCO on its €2.8 billion refinancing 
  • Lenders on the €1.55 billion syndicated loan agreement for Sixt
  • Partners Group on the financing of the acquisition of agn Niederberghaus & Partner GmbH (AGN)
  • Seven2 on the acquisition of a majority stake in HRK LUNIS as well as on the merger of HRK LUNIS with Grossbötzl, Schmitz & Partner
  • TP on partnerships with Ema and Parloa
