Emma Mayberry is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Emma represents high-growth companies on a broad range of matters, including corporate governance, debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and venture capital strategies. 

Emma maintains an active pro bono practice, working on matters relating to small business and entrepreneurship, asylum applications and appeals, and protective orders for survivors of domestic violence.

While in law school, Emma served as an Articles Editor for the Northwestern University Law Review, and as a board member for the JD-MBA Association and First Generation Law Students Association. She also worked with entrepreneurs and venture capitalists in the social impact space, and served as a corporate counsel extern with a large technology company based outside of Chicago.

Prior to law school, Emma was the director of a regional public-private initiative to close the gender pay gap in the greater Seattle area, and previously worked in government affairs at an energy and environmental-focused law firm based in Washington, D.C.
