Dylan Towns is an associate in the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department. He advises private equity firms (together with their portfolio companies), public and private companies, strategic investors, and emerging growth companies on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, entity formation, and corporate governance. Dylan helps clients navigate both domestic and cross-border transactions, providing practical legal counsel across the full spectrum of corporate matters.

Dylan works closely with clients throughout the life cycle of their transactions, from structuring and negotiating deals to managing the complexities of post-closing integration. He helps clients identify solutions that meet their needs and objectives while maintaining focus on achieving efficient, successful outcomes. Dylan’s experience spans a variety of industries, including technology, healthcare, biotech and pharmaceuticals, entertainment, real estate, financial services, and food and beverage.

As a former college athlete, Dylan draws on his experience working as part of a team to collaborate effectively across Latham’s global platform, ensuring that his clients’ interests are well-represented at every stage of a transaction. He works closely with colleagues across offices, leveraging the firm’s resources to deliver practical, results-oriented solutions that support his clients’ business goals.

  • Stone Canyon Industries Holdings and Reddy Ice in the acquisition of Fábrica de Hielo Apodaca, known as Aguafría, Mexico’s largest ice manufacturer
  • The Sterling Group in its acquisition of Ergotron
  • Partners Group in its acquisition of SureWerx
  • A private equity firm in its investment in a social gaming company
