Ce’Ondra Ellison is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins.
Ce’Ondra represents clients on a broad range of corporate, finance, and tax matters. She also maintains an active pro bono practice.
Before joining Latham full-time, Ce’Ondra gained experience in refugee and immigration legal services, served as a PILI Fellow with the Loyola Federal Tax Clinic, and was a Diversity Scholar in the Chicago office where she spent time on secondment at Stericycle.
While in law school, Ce’Ondra served as Co-President of the Yale Law and Business Society, Co-Chair of Tax@YLS, Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Journal of Law and Liberation, and Editor of the Yale Journal on Regulation. Additionally, she served as the Connecticut Sub-Regional Director of the Northeast Black Law Students Association, Communications Chair of Yale Law First Generation Professionals, a mentor for the Yale Law School Launchpad Scholars Program, and as a Teaching Fellow. Ce’Ondra also worked as a student attorney for the Ludwig Center for Community & Economic Development, Housing Connecticut: Developing Healthy/Sustainable Neighborhoods, and the Palliative Care Medical-Legal Partnership. In these roles, she provided assistance with establishing nonprofits, securing millions of dollars in state grants, developing affordable housing, and estate planning.
