Cameron Jones is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Fintech Industry Group.

Cameron advises a range of clients including technology companies, financial institutions, payments service providers, cryptocurrency platforms, and e-money platforms on all aspects of domestic financial regulation as well as cross-border regulatory issues.

Cameron's experience includes advising:

  • A multinational technology company on all aspects of its successful UK open banking launch and subsequent product development work in multiple regions
  • A number of cryptoasset trading platforms and brokers on MiCA authorisation and compliance
  • Coinbase on its US$1.1 billion convertible senior notes offering
  • Hidden Road Partners CIV NL B.V. (the Netherlands entity of Hidden Road), the global credit network for institutions, on obtaining a MiCA license by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets
