Andrew Baker is the Global Chair of Liability Management and a partner in the Capital Markets Practice. Andrew ’ s practice focuses on a wide array of liability management solutions, including uptier exchange offers, drop-down financings, “double dip” financings, and many other creative liability management strategies. Andrew also maintains a broad-based capital markets practice representing both issuers and investment banks. Andrew has closed hundreds of transactions with an aggregate market value in the hundreds of billions of dollars.

Andrew’s work covers a wide array of sectors including chemicals, healthcare, food products, aviation, financial institutions, casino gaming, pharmaceuticals, technology, automotive, insurance, consumer lending, mining, energy, oil and gas, retail, specialty products, and telecommunications.

In 2011, Andrew spent six months on secondment at Barclays where he provided legal advice related to credit agreements, amendments to credit agreements, bank/bridge commitment letters, bond offerings, and syndicated loan documents.

During law school, Andrew worked for Justice Barry T. Albin of the New Jersey Supreme Court.
