Allegra Benitah is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins.

Allegra advises clients on complex international transactional tax matters, with a focus on finance and corporate transactions and multi-jurisdictional tax planning.

Prior to joining Latham in 2025, Allegra was an associate in the tax department of a leading international law firm.

Allegra maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing victims of the Windrush scandal in respect of their claims under the Windrush Compensation Scheme*. Allegra features on the 2025 Pro Bono Recognition List of England & Wales.

Allegra spent time on secondment to Airbus, Toulouse, Barclays Bank PLC and the Paris office of a leading international law firm.

Allegra’s experience includes advising: 

  • Burstone on its strategic partnership with Blackstone, involving the sale to Blackstone of an 80% stake in its €1.1bn pan-European logistics portfolio*
  • BGC Group, Inc. on the sale of Capitalab business, a leader in Rates Portfolio Compression and Margin Optimisation, to Capitolis UK Limited*
  • Natixis CIB on its green loan to Quintain in respect of its refinancing of a built-to-rent building in Wembley*
