Alex Ross is an associate in Latham & Watkins Gaikokuho Joint Enterprise and a member of the Finance Department. 

Mr. Ross’ practice focuses on complex, cross-border project development and finance matters.

He has experience advising on all aspects of the development, financing, refinancing, sale, and acquisition of renewable and conventional power, oil and gas, transport, and infrastructure projects across a number of jurisdictions in Asia Pacific, including Australia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, and the Philippines. 

Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Ross worked in the Sydney and Bangkok offices of a leading UK law firm and served a secondment with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC).

Mr. Ross is a registered foreign lawyer in Japan as a member of the Dai-Ni Tokyo Bar Association.
