Latham Advises on Academy Sports + Outdoors’ US$500 Million Senior Notes Offering
Academy Sports + Outdoors, Inc. (Academy) (Nasdaq: ASO), a leading full‑line sporting goods and outdoor recreation retailer in the United States, has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Academy, Ltd., priced a private offering that is exempt from the registration requirements of the Securities Act of 1933 of US$500 million aggregate principal amount of 5.875% senior secured notes due 2031. The offering is expected to close on May 14, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
